Inside of M2 MPE
Hey guys,
Has anyone cut open their MPE? if they have, can you please send pics? I want to see what could possibly be loose inside my muffler, and try to maybe repair it with a sheet metal screw or something. Thanks! |

Surprisingly, I thought I had the same issue with my MPE (it had cracked and had been rewelded previously.) But, just a few weeks ago I went catless and it turns out there was loose material in my catalytic converter that was causing noises during startups that sounded metallic.

This is the 2nd time this happened on my mpe original repair wasn’t good basically just tacked on with mig welder didn’t realise until it failed one year later.
I’m going to do it properly at my work this time with tig welder that’s what I get for being lazy and paying someone else |
