M2C Available at BMW Seattle

I just saw my first M2 Competition. It was an orange 6 speed. It is for sale at BMW Seattle.

I like the looks of it but the exhaust sound was worse than I thought. Glad I got an M2.

Some one should snap this guy up. I am sure it is the best handling current production M car. It just wasn't worth the upgrade cost to me from my eight month old M2.

Not inconsistent. The OG M2 is no longer in production. The M2C I am sure is better than an M4 as far as handling and road feel. The M3 is also out of production.

M5 and M6 are just too big.

I am surprised it's not spoken for, unless it's marked up from MSRP.

I am at the fence, wanting one but bought 2018 M3 ZCP/ZEC/shade for $67K with 2.99% financing last Feb; hard to pull a trigger on this one for $65.5K and full interest rate. Lease numbers is awful too. Oh well, maybe an Amazoner will snatch it

Strange, maybe this AW M2C at Seattle has moon-roof and other goodies unless marked up.
I just put my name on waiting list at another dealer, an MT, Hokeiem Silver and Exec pkg comes to $61645, come on Jan 2019

The reason the price is what it is is due to the added carbon fiber pieces. If you were already planning on adding them then no big deal and you can finance them. BMW Seattle has a policy of not marking up cars but it is common for the cars to be loaded with dealer installed accessories. I will say they have been excellent to work with so far though.

Yup, Mike Brown the internet mgr at Seattle is valuable contributor at bimmerfest.com forums. Seems to be a nice guy.

For some reason I am comfortable with Bellevue, they invited once to pre-screen Mission Impossible 4 before release, free hotdog and popcorn to boot at Bellevue movie theater. This is the first car I am buying at MSRP, all others are lot less than that, got $3400 off MSRP on 2018 M3 before $6K incentives (oh the good ole last year BMWNA business model, now BMWNA is just plain stingy).

I'll probably lock my deal if I can by the end of the year, got the feeling $1k price increase on M2C by Jan 2019 is imminent

That's my car.... :-) picked it up Saturday morning as a DD. I looked at it for a few days, really liked the color and the CF bits, I didn't like the half hood wrap they had put on it, so tried to haggle them down. They would not budge, so I left.... I checked out other similar cars at dealerships and saw $10K adm - this combined with a 1yr+ waiting list, I decided maybe I should just buy it for MSRP and live with the wrap....

So far I really like it, it's a bit 'bouncy', and I wish the exhaust was louder and switchable separate from the traction control. It's a blast to drive, can't wait for it to be run in :-)

I'm a member of Avants, so may see some of you at the next event....

Nicely done .

Last week, I wast thinking about that SO M2 but my M3 is Sakhir Orange already so I wanted some different in color, it was either LBB or HS. But opt for HS for a little more subtle.
One time, I was filling my M3 at gas station, a guy in Sapphire Black M3 said hello and murmur "it's a bit loud". So I complained, "but your M3 also has ZCP". And he smiled, "I meant your M3 color"

so Andy, your M2 is loud already

Nice garage, I have a white GT3 and M2 also. That's probably the best picture of the orange I've seen so far. All the other pics it looks meh but that looks pretty good there.
