I'm excited for all the new future M2 owners.
But damn, tick the same boxes to spec to my current one...its nearly a 20% increase...before taxes! |

I just did a build of what I would like. It's about 4K more than what I paid with my options. It's too bad they didn't keep the 437M wheels, at least as a choice.

Built a 2019 as close to my 2018 LCI as possible. Including destination on both cars and ignoring taxes, price difference of +18% or $9300 versus what I paid in May, assuming the only discount on the 2019 for awhile being the $500 Fleet Discount. Yikes.

I'm not a fan of the front grill, and while the new wheels aren't bad, I really love the old wheels that came with the M2. Surprised they don't even offer them as an option.
My big ? is... how's it going to sound? The M2's exhaust is really glorious..........the M3/M4.... not so much. |

Yea I find it funny the comparisons keep coming up based upon what special circumstances they had for their last car or the next. We should keep apples to apples. Configure a car as close as possible as the other based on no special hook ups to confirm the additional cost to upgrade.
Then you can factor in your loss taken on your current model if you have one and tack it on top of the new one and the gap becomes slightly bigger especially if you have a '18.... There is not enough that i like on the Comp over my current for me to take it in the ass on my '18. |

If you're moving over from N55 with 6MT to the S55 I highly recommend test driving both transmission options before plunking down the money for your order.
