IND | HRE Flowform Wheels - Custom Finishes

Within the walls of HRE Wheels, the word “compromise” is not often muttered. Indeed, holding themselves true to their credo “Industry Standard” requires a certain level of perfectionism and engineering prowess that many strive toward, but don’t achieve.

The success of HRE’s FlowForm wheel program is yet another testament to their relentless pursuit of dominance in the wheel market—using high-tech flow-forming technology to produce wheels they are proud to put their stamp upon, boasting dramatic weight reduction figures and impressive increases in strength simultaneously over conventional cast alternatives.

As with their forged counterparts, the FlowForm wheel carries TUV certification for sale in Europe and JWL/VIA certificiation for sale in Japan. And as a proverbial cherry on top, you’re able to choose from 15 custom finishes in addition to the two standard options.

It’d be an injustice to label these wheels as anything “entry level” because, as you know, absolutely nothing that HRE_Wheels produces could be defined as such. Instead, we would go so far to say that the FlowForm program is the enthusiasts wheel—a direct and earnest response to thousands of requests to produce a product that would introduce HRE to a much wider audience—products that many have only dreamed of owning in years past.

As such, we found it befitting to procure a set of FF04s to our M2. In many ways, the M2’s development was aligned with FlowForm—a car bred specifically for the enthusiast. As a special touch, our 19” wheel set was finished in “Stone Dark Clear”, a sporting nod to our signature Black Chrome finish. The 9” fronts are shod in 245/35/19 Michelin 4S tires, whereas its wider 10” rear counterpart carries 265/35/19 rubber.

The result is as purpose built as ever—the V-spoke design compliments the M2’s thoroughbred nature quite well and allows the yellow Brembo calipers to shine through proudly.

We are immensely thankful to HRE for opening their doors to us for a peek into their production facility and welcoming our Gelbgrün M2 into the HRE family!

Awesome wheel, nice finish! Reminds me of their brushed titanium...if they still do that one.
