I just realized I never circled back on this thread, even though I ultimately made the move to a 2020 M2C.

There was a 2018 M240i in between though.

I really enjoyed the M2C, it was a great contrast from the clinical serious 981S, with its lively handling, low end torque and bulldogish looks.

If you are bored with your cayman/boxster and want a different kind of fun, an M2 is a great choice.
