What? No trunk wing?!? Where's the M4 GTS wing? Where's the Subaru double wing? It can't be a GTS without a wing right? How about a Fokker Triplane trunk wing like the Red Barron?

Fokker triplane...

Throw a S55 in there and use some more carbon to reduce the weight a bit and I'm game

Whatever dude. It's pretty sad that you don't know that mirrors that include an extra appendage is what truly defines an M car. Nothing else matters! And who cares that the M mirrors have worse aerodynamics than the standards mirrors. It's called the M finger!!!!

Lol, can't tell if serious. Can't be though because we all know what makes a true M car haha.

Valid point. Despite the "better aerodynamics" excuse for the base M2 getting M235i side mirrors, BMW M slapped mirrors featuring the 'stubby'/'stalk' on its 2016 2002 Hommage Concept. So it was all just a poor excuse - the stubby hasn't gone out of style yet. And I assume that we will see it (again) on a future M2 variant.

Thank god BMW hopefully figuring it out maybe

#aerodyamics matter!

the Coefficient of drag gets way WORSE on an M car than the base model, which does kill the M2 on the top end as well compared to an M235.

I could be wrong but that front end doesn't scream awesome aerodynamics to me! LOL!

Does anyone know what kind metal this is? I really like the way it looks, not the actual shape of the grille surround, but rather the color. I would love to have it on my E93 as it matches the exterior trim. I'm kind of tired of the black or the chrome. I know, paint is the more logical answer, but my OCD, most likely, would not allow it.

I really like the shape of the double slats compared to the current design.

I like it too! But not for my E93. It would not look correct. I think! Now you've got me wondering...
