Buying advice for 2018 M2 6MT
Been going back and forth with a dealer on a 2018 M2 6MT with 70k km and they want 50k CAD. The car drove fine with no accidents, carfax indicates it used to be a lease.
Is it worth the price? Just wondering about the higher mileage and potential service items or issues that might be looming. Thoughts? |

For a 5 year old car the mileage isn’t unusual. The car is pretty rock solid except for taillight malfunctions. The malfunction is being covered in the US but I don’t know about Canada.

Most parts on this car that are known to fail/leak don’t really become an issue until 50K–60K miles (80K–96K km) or later. You can read more about those commonly known issues here:
https://blog.fcpeuro.com/the-definit...specs-upgrades The parts for most of these issues aren’t very expensive, though the labor can be. That depends on the labor market where you live and whether you do any of your own maintenance and repair work on your vehicles. |

That mileage is fine I’m at 67 on my 18 OG and no issues. The N55 is pretty rock solid.
6MT clutch shudder is what you may want to look for. Also any signs of a tune? Mods?
