Still like the sound of the OG better - I'll be waiting a while for the S58 in the new version in a couple of years.

I'm not sure about USA or Europe market. But China locally made F30 and F35 get the beautiful Full Digital Instrument standard from MY2019 its last year of run. The Germany Imported M3 and M4 do not though.

For one year, I've been commuting with either the 540i (company car) or my personal M2 (LCI gauge retrofitted). I didn't think digital gauge from the 5er is better at first, but it grew on me very day and I have to admit it's a lot nicer to look at.

M2 CS probably will be the last new car from F series. It's indeed a bit dated even at launch. BMW better give the M2 CS and M2C some G platform technology to keep up.

MadViper commented that he got the flyer from his BMW dealer (and I see no reason to assume that he made that up) and that, apparently, it comes from Mexico:

This info comes from a dealer in LATAM [Latin America] and Mexico is the country that send this info to my dealer. I know the product update is very unprofessional but that's what I got from my dealer. Time will tell if the info on the bulletin is real or not. As far as I know this is the first piece of evidence that suggest the red stitching on the interior and the red brake calipers instead of the gray.
Throttleblip is located in Latin America, so may have seen this flyer surfacing too.

As commented before:

Would be interesting to see the color difference between "Misano Blue Metallic" (BMW) and "Mexico Blue" (Porsche):

F80 M3 in "Mexico Blue" (Individual) (see dedicated thread here):

This! The hood has to be fake for example. The test mules all had the mpferf carbon hood, not the gts variant - which of course does not fit the 2 series

Does anyone know what ECE of 9/2020 means? Interesting that production is only 9 months from 3/2020 to 12/2020.

Misano Blue is closer to Mexico Blue than to Santorini Blue.

It's a shame Mexico Blue wasn't a standard shade. IMO it's easily the best of all those blues.

I'm really worried that this car is going to approach a base price of $90K or so. Which would be fast approaching a 911. Anyone have an idea of when price will be revealed? October/November timeframe?

We know the M2 CS is coming but that document looks fake. BMW would never give these types of updates by using a document and using a combination of M4 and M2 images. We never got it for the M3/M4 CS so I don't see why the M2 Competition would receive special treatment. There is also no point in providing a SOP and EOP and not use official pictures of the parts and options that will be available. Let's give you an official start and end date...but let's not use pictures of the actual M2 CS.

The post said M2 CS dealer presentation which is possible, but this document seems to be created by the presenting dealership to go with their presentation, so this is essentially a mock job of things frequent forum members already know.

GTS hood is the most under rated mod for the M2. Just have to give an arm, leg, and five more fingers if you want to get your hands on one in the US

The DCT option makes me suspicious. Aren't we switching to ZF8?

All current FXX chassis M cars will still retain the DCT (too costly to make a change to the ZF8) until the GXX chassis.
