I am not speaking with authority, rather, only through experience. . .

Given my driving tendencies combined with a small gas tank, I am typically looking for a gas station every 100-125 miles . . . once I get under a quarter tank I start thinking about filling-up.

Sometimes this corresponds to the fuel warning light coming on, while other times I do not quite breach the barrier. Regardless, I have not yet experienced any nanny intrusion while running low on fuel.

Actually I like the default setup to be efficient mode so I don't upset my neighbors and also frees up the M1 and M2 settings

There was a recall on the manual. Same with the tyre placard. Both had some incorrect info.
