Yea, the M2 is certainly not subtle, people notice, especially dudes, it's such a cock-magnet and can get annoying with all the random questions from strangers.

However, it was 10x worst in my red Mini Cooper JCW but at least that vehicle also attracted women.

My experience over the course of about a month. (Also keep in mind my M2C is white with a bunch of "flashy" carbon options.)

-Car guys drool over the thing and stare for as long as they can see you
-Chicks couldn't care less until you rev it in sport+, then they realize its "fancy"
-I find the average population doesn't really look at mine as a sports car unless I'm hauling past them

I only speak from experience in mexican highway driving..

I believe the camaro has a slight edge, I can't say I've done any pulls or races but if you go by published stats (power, weight, quarter mile traps) the camaro SS is slightly faster than the 2c (115 to 113) so if police are coming after and you gun it. one will be behind the other and likely going to jail or at least getting a massive ticket depending on what kind of mood police are in and what they may have read you on radar or vascar doing.. heh

Color is a big factor. I found that some of the aggressive lines were hidden behind white and HS. While SO, LBB, black were more menacing.

The rear haunches were more visible on the darker colors, but that's par for the course on many cars.

Just the opposite of a sleeper. It’s so aggressive looking from every angle. Nothing with a wide body and front end like the M2C will ever go unnoticed. It’s a rock star. A M340i is a sleeper. A 750i is a sleeper or other V8TT non full M-Cars. People go nuts over my M2C with thumbs ups from other motorist. They even make a effort to speed up just to look at it on the highway.

I believe that "puck puck puck" sound blaring from the quad exhaust, flared fenders and bulbous bumpers already made it know what time it is..

Trust me, when you're out in the wild, folks can clearly see and hear the M2 is a "different" kind of transportation and take notice. I don't know why guys assume it's a "sleeper," It's the polar opposite of such.

In fact, a majority of folks purchase M cars solely because of their boisterous character, not because they want to hang ten on the apex.

The other guy next to you in 550i, with almost 600hp but quiet as mouse, he'll probably catch folks off guard and qualify as a true 'sleeper.'
