As I had stated in another post regarding the car, I actually like it... But I love technology and gadgetry. I don't hate the body lines like most do, but I also LOVE the G80's too. I think once people see it in person, and can absorb the changes, it'll grow on others as well.

Here is my take... I have a 2018. I have had a reservation over at Classic BMW for a few months.

When the leaked photos came out I was NOT happy. Looked like ass.

Once I saw the official photos in a non-shitty color (ZB) I was like, that looks a lot better. Front end looking pretty good. Back end not looking as horrific as the did in the leaks.

Now I am actually thinking about pulling the trigger. I need to see the USA configurator to see what it'll cost and what options there are. I played with the UK configurator and got an idea of what could be.

Things I am still not happy about:
- No DCT
- If you are going to take away the DCT, give us the option to get x-drive.
- Lack of paint color options. I want Isle of Man Green w/ brown interior.

What I do like:
- Brooklyn Grey Metallic looks pretty good
- There is a black seat option that I like
- Loads of tech
- Warranty

I am concerned about interest rates going through the roof. This will mean a higher payment.

I will attach some pics of my config.

I'm still not sold myself after these pics got released, although im not in the market.

I'm sure after seeing them in person it'll grow on me, and others, just as the original g80 did.

Beyond its aesthetics and my personal opinion, im sure the new g87 will be quite the capable car at around 3800 lbs and with the s58.
