The genius guy told me you still can. I was on the fence about the perf delivery due to the extra time to get the car, and they said i can get the exact samet thing after delivery.......still get the driving, dinner and hotel.

You can likely call them right now and get the low down.

Also, not a good idea to wait until last minute due to reservation backlog. You might not get your desired day.

yes, sorry, was asking you...so you can just call the Genius line and get a post-delivery PCD? I mean...why not? I wonder if they can combine a PCD and M Driver's Package and get me 2 day M School for no additional cost

New 2018 LCI owner here...I financed through BMW FS, and just got the USB/paperweight, along with a thank you note inviting me to sign up for the Perf Driving School, but no mention of it being complimentary and/or free hotel...

If I call the genius, they'll comp this?

I got one earlier this week too. It sounds like an invitation to register and pick up all the expenses myself. There's no mention of BMW picking up the tab for any of it.

This is awesome. Congrats! Wondered if this surprise only extends to the folks in the US or does it apply to Canadian buyers as well?

How long did it take after you purchase the car?

I got a gift as well today... A BMW M Performance folder with a 10% discount voucher...

Pity that it was in Czech, which I cannot read and that I just bought my final BMW M Performance parts for about 22% cheaper than my dealer and without VAT.

Check your email. I got the key fob USB as well, but later got the email for the 1-Day school with hotel.

I took delivery of my M2 on April 8th and I got this near the end of May 2017. So it took about 7 weeks.

Just noticed, my silver one doesn't have the M Sport logo. Maybe silver is for non-Ms. Shoot. They may have sent me the wrong one. Oh well. There are a couple of videos on it. Not much more.
Just received mine this week. Took delivery mid-August.
Same letter as yours, just an invitation to the school where I pay for the expense myself.

BMW is missing out here as this is something I probably would never do on my own but if they wet my appetite with a free 1 day trial, it may open a new market to them.

Oh well, no biggie.

I got my notice a while back and just called last week to set something up (before the deal was going to expire).

I asked about both the driving school, and upgrading to the 1 day M school. Since you can apply the $849 value of the driving school to the 1 day M school, it drops the 1 day M school to $701. I asked how the 15% BMW CCA membership gets applied to that and was told it's 15% off the difference, so it drops the price to $595.85. (I had posted something previously figuring they would just apply the 15% to the difference, so this confirms that).

The e-mail they had sent me also mentioned a 2 night hotel stay (based on availability). Nothing about dinner, though. It later was confirmed that the hotel stay is based on financing through BMW.

I went ahead and signed up for the 1 day M school on April 23. I figure $595 for 1 day using their cars is not a bad deal. A bit more than you would spend for a 2 day HPDE around here, but it sounds like reviews for going to the M school have been pretty positive and no money spent on brakes, tires, insurance and other consumables at the track.
