They're pretty much all the same.
I've used the same set in two F30s and now my F87.

You may need a different part. I don't know anyone with an LCI.

The cheapo puddle lights eventually cause their logos to fade though. At least, that has been my experience with them. It's like the LED they use puts out too much UV or isn't filtered correctly, and it makes the logo look like crap after 6-8 months.
I would pay more for the BMW ones assuming they don't suffer the same problem...

My time is valuable enough that I'd rather pay more up front for ones that won't fade. Now, if the OEM ones also fade, screw that noise... I've never had them so I don't know if they hold up or suck just as much as the cheapo ones? That's the whole reason I haven't put logo puddle lights on this car yet.

Yup! got them in the car now. you just have to do a slight modification to the hole that is stock. when you take out the stock light it has rounded corners. These are square so you have to use a razor and "square out" the rounded corners. even if you do that, and decide to go stock again, they will fit right back in. it is really just the corners you have to cut out. will never notice.

The car has standard "lights on the bottom of the door" puddles lights, but they don't have logos in them.

Again, my aftermarket ones were LEDs as well. I think the problem was that the LED chips they used were not properly UV-filtered, so they were shining "more than just white light" through the little transparent logo. Over time, the logo faded out.
Hopefully the ones that BMW sells for $120+ are better quality than that, but I haven't seen anyone who has them installed come back and report one way or another whether they've kept their original appearance...

Yep, that has happened to me on all the eBay puddle lights I've bought with logos over the past few years. After about a year or so, the logo disc which is plastic either fades or melts From the heat of the light.
