2018 M2 ECU Tuning information

I've read a bit about DME unlock, but it seems it just gives the ability for others to flash maps.

I'm curious if there's any kind of software available where I can edit the maps myself? I'd like to get the car tuned on the dyno, but also to be able to monitor maps with a wide-band and make corrections at any time I want - especially for part throttle as I make changes to the car.

In short, is there software which allows me to treat the ECU as if it's a standalone?

Probably others do too, but BM3 allows you to go in and create your own map from the stock base map.

You aren't allowed into the tuned maps.

Bootmod3 allows you to create your own map

For some reason I thought BM3 only allows off-the shelf maps and remote custom tuning.
