Did full screen CarPlay and coded some features (seat belt, disclaimers, music off on open doors) via kubax. So far so good! Was very easy communicating and reasonably priced.

Kubax did my CarPlay today. I required an iDrive update from an M version to the latest plus full screen CarPlay.

Very straightforward, 35 mins start to finish. Very reasonable price and great service.

Did the Kubax full screen carplay mod as a holiday gift to both my 21 M2C and my kid's 2019 Mini Cooper S.

My M2 was a DIY (download and install the file myself) - worked like magic. Less than 10 minutes from start to finish, including re-connecting my phone via bluetooth, etc.

The Cooper was more involved. Had to download a bunch more files, buy a battery tender (which I wanted anyway, so NBD), follow some more complex instructions, and schedule a session with Kubax.

Even though it feels a little sketchy at first giving someone else total control of your PC while it's connected to your car, everything went pretty smoothly. Definitely recommend having the battery tender connected for the type where your PC has to be remotely controlled, as the process probably took 30-40 minutes from start to finish and the car's ignition is on the whole time and you don't want your battery to drain out unexpectedly.

Anyway, all done and everything works great. Thanks Kubax!!

Hate to be that guy again but has anyone done the 15.3 update and can conform no negative impact? Concerned only because I believe it did touch carplay.

15.3 on an iPhone 13 Pro is working like a champ in my ‘17 with full screen CarPlay thanks to Kubax86

It all runs incredibly smooth with the 13 Pro which was what I was hoping for and the updates to Apple Maps mean it’s now my go-to over Waze or Google. The graphics in Apple Maps is far superior, you get better data privacy, and it all finally works as a accurate map for a change.

Does anyone notice that when navigation is on (using google maps) the blue line is not centered with the screen? It's like off to the right.
