2020 M2 COMP Pricing Canada

Hi Guys,

Need your help. I have not owned a BMW since my 135i days. However I miss it. So I am looking for a M2 competition . Found a 2020 demo at the dealer with 700 km's on it. They are offering me an additional $2600 off the price attached. Is this a good deal? Let me know what you think this should go for. SEE PDF. Basically I would get the car for $75714 plus tax.

That's about 3k more then what I paid for a new order... but I'm guessing you don't have a million options in NF... If the car is exactly how you want it...

149$ for wheels locks... the car comes with them. Also what do you get for 1240$ for other dealer options? Seems like the bogus quote I got from a dealer in Quebec. They where forcing me to buy over priced winter mats, paint sealant, lock nuts and a milion other stupid fees. no thanks.

Thanks for your reply . It really helps me since I have no idea about the M2C pricing. I agree. I am questioning the $1240 other dealer options and the wheel locks are crazy. $2395 seems high for freight and PDI as well. It is cheaper for me to fly to Toronto and buy one, drive it home. Save 10k. This is not even a brand new car since it is a demo with 700kms.

Do any incentives ever come out for these cars?

No incentives that I am aware of in the past or present. Only the 2018s where discounted when the Competition was released. I got about 7% off FYI, but that included 2% rebate from BMW Club Quebec. I know BMW laval had a really similar spec car then you. But yeah, Toronto guys and gals always seem to get better deals. PDI is ok, BMW sets that.

Thanks so much for your help. I think I will go back asking for the $2600 off that was originally offered and get them to take the other dealer options off. Which would be $2600+ $1240= $3850. Then some more off because it is a demo. I think I should get a total of $5k to $7k off msrp .

Given that it is a demo with 700km, in a toronto market you could could probably get it for 70 plus tax
even brand new ordered cars you can usually get 5% off
the freight amount is fine, but the 1200 in dealer options is not cool

but I am not sure how different the market/negotiation room is in NL

I will say it is a great car you will love!

Toronto seems to have the best deals on the M2C. I think the car should be 68k plus tax IMO. Love the help everyone!

That car is a demo with 700km on it. The freight and pdi i believe you don't have to pay.

If it's a demo car I'd tell them they should cover the freight and pdi

This is a mediocre deal at best. 700 demo miles are different from 700 normal miles too...
I've attached my quote that should give you reference for what is possible. This isn't the best deal either, I've seen better. This was for my 2019 custom order. Hope it helps. I've excluded any sensitive info.

All in all, for the car that you mention, I wouldn't pay a dollar over 80k all-in for it.

You got a 2020 M2 C for 74K OTD? That's fantastic. Curious was this a demo with what options?

Typically western BMW dealers charge about 6K in extra fees etc...especially in Alberta.
