I bought the EC approved, I don't care that it's EC approved or not, just that it's the quieter resonated version. |

Rear setup with EC (not race) mid silencer and cerakote satin black tips. I'll get some pics when it's laid out on the shop floor.. |

This exhaust is my No1 option at the moment after having the race system with secondary cat bypass on my M4 CP.
Loved it on the M4 and was a great system for the money. I'd like to delete the OPFs and have the system from the primary cats back so just need to see who can code out the OPF sensors for me prior to installing. My hope was on the BM3 but my car is a 2020 and has just been built and awaiting shipping to dealers so I surmise it'll have the new software locking the DME. Really Interested to hear how you.like the system.

It would be interesting to know the weight difference compared to the OE exhaust

Very happy with it so far. Lovely deep note at idle. You can feel the extra sound vibration through the car. Real firecrackers in sport+ but subtle in economy.
Nice rasp on throttle blip. Butt dyno says it's quicker too. Unfortunately the weather is awful in UK. It's rained continuously for 24 hours and now today we have a storm coming and more rain and gales all day again... Car is now filthy and have no photos or video yet.. Did 150 miles yesterday loads of WOT runs and no CEL due to OPF delete. Checked with ISTA diagnostics and no faults at all. 👍 Last edited by doughboy; 04-27-2019 at 04:10 AM.. |

Reset it with obd tool, 2seconds with Bluetooth obd and phone app.
I'm interested in what the fault codes will be in detail, so I'd probably limp home and plug in ISTA to look properly, the reset it properly with that. Last edited by doughboy; 04-27-2019 at 11:46 AM.. |

Few more pics. It fitted perfectly according to the fitter. Quite a bit lighter than OE system.
The on-car pics are not final one's, it was still being adjusted at this stage. It's great to see the diff cooling fins from behind now instead of udder! Last edited by doughboy; 04-27-2019 at 12:03 PM.. |
