List of US specs variations

Got my m2c 6mt 2 days ago and reading this forum extensively. I thought it would be helpful to having a running list of different default specs that US-bound ones have (or not). Feel free to add.

- autostart/stop option sticks
- option for mirror auto fold is not found in iDrive, nor press and hold lock on fob
- 12v supply under glove box is replaced with empty hole

The ROW has a 40/20/40 rear split folding seats (center pass through) except the US which has a only 40/60 opening.

The rear seat belt indicators are mandatory in the ROW, not in the US.

The hardware within the LED headlights are different from ROW and the US, thus one can't properly code in Glare Free High Beam and Variable Light Distribution.

The rear turn signal is the color red in the US but amber everywhere else in the ROW.

I think we have the door locking beep and they do not in the EU.

The 60/40 rear split is standard in AUS with the 40:20:40 split optional

EU cars have the start up sequence where there is no full power for at least 30 seconds. It is used to do some pre-heating of the OPFs.

Yes, the US spec vehicles require front amber side reflectors and the headlights itself has illuminated amber side markers at night.
