Anyone running 255/35R19 on their M2C’s front?
Hi everyone,
I am looking to get a set of winter tires for my M2C. Thinking of a square setup of 255/35R19 on 9.5 x 19 rims. I think the general consensus is that the front would be tight but still no rubbing. If anyone with 255 on the front can chime in, it would be appreciated. Thanks! Kat |

Similar but not quite the same, just put on 255/40/18 winter tires on a set of 513m (9x18 ET29) no rubbing but haven't been driving aggressively.
Sadly, the tires do rub on suspension and are very close to fender at steering full lock. |

I just put some 255/35/19s on the front and rear for winter.
They run fine but I hear a tiny bit of rubbing when I'm turning into a driveway with a steep angle. I only just got them though so I will need to do more testing. |

Unless there's something different about the M2C vs the OG M2 in this regard, 255/35/19 is probably the most common, non-OEM sizing people chose to fit to the front wheels.
It fits fine. No rubbing, even if conservatively lowered with coilovers or shorter springs. If the story is different on the M2C, I'll stand corrected. |

Right now I'm leaning towards just going with the 19x9 rims through BMW but with 245/3519 square set-up. Waiting on pricing there. Last edited by golf4501; 11-06-2019 at 07:56 AM.. |

Thanks guys. The rims I was looking at were superspeed RF05 19*9.5 +25 offset with 255 35 19 Alpin pa4. Price is decent $3300CAD but also don’t want to have rubbing issue. 641M set from the dealer run $4200CAD. Running out of idea. Search will go on.

Curious as well. Looking at a used set of winters in 255/40 19. I only have staggered wheels currently the stock 788M. I was planning on running these square tires on the car for the winter.
My summer setup is 255/35 front and 275/35 rear with no rubbing. Two concerns I have are increase in profile and minor stretch of 255 tire on 10" diameter wheel. Thoughts from anyone? |

I ended up getting the BMW winter set through my dealer (19x8.5 front, 19x9 rear 235R35/19 square set-up). He worked with me a bit, so I got them for cost plus $200, just over $3000. There is a BMW rebate out there right now for Winter sets as well, so I will get another $70 back from that. I had priced a square set-up through Tire Rack but those were 19x9.5 front (245R35/19 square set-up) and there was a note on rubbing. That set was $2700. I bit the bullet on this, but there isn't a ton of options out there for M2C's unfortunately |
