I would go with option 3 if you want MT.

Black looks amazing on the competition model and you save some $$$.

BMW Seattle has 5 in stock. In Seattle traffic I went for DCT. DCT also has the advantage of being faster and getting better gas mileage than a 6 speed.

There currently are no cash incentives so make sure you join BMWCCA for their $500 cash rebate. If you are not already a member you can buy a 3 year membership on or before you purchase the car and still get the rebate.

Had a M2 black DCT open roof and now M2C Hockenheim Grey manual 788 wheels m breaks

For the next I would definitely make the following config ;

Blue
Manual
Sport brakes (option for us)
Sport seats (option for us)
No roof (extra weight)
No 788 rims (extra weight), 437 easier to clean, EC7 Apex at best
Add suspension kit BMW Mperf or KW3 clubsport at best
Exhaust ... still thinking

All the best with your new M2C❤️

None of the above! Get it dry stock. No M Perf exhaust! I have one for sale that has everything you would pay to be done in first year or two! Value beyond belief.

So you have an idea. I recently got my 2020 M2C. Alpine white, no executive pack, DCT (2900) important to me as its my daily. They tacked in $150 wheel locks. MSRP is 62945, invoice price 59300. Although added executive pack would have been nice. It did not have it in AW at the time and it saved me $1200. I was ok with the round angel eyes, and I got the piano black all over which I like.

^ Wheel locks are standard and no cost.

OP, given your choices above, I'd say option #3. Although, I wouldn't buy any of them as they are not my color choices nor desired options.

I would never spend over $6k for the M Perf exhaust with over priced carbon tips. If you are spending that kind of money on an exhaust spend the extra money and go Akrapovic.

Only you can decide if an automated transmission or manual is the best choice.

Moonroof adds weight in the worse place.

Exec Pk is a must imo.

I'm looking at those cars too, I've got an agreement with my SA to drive a DCT and a MT there in Seattle to help me decide. Then I'm gonna put down for a euro delivery in springtime.

GL!! Let me know what your sale price ends up being to help me negotiate.

I will never buy a car with M performance parts added on by the dealer unless they ate at least 50% of the cost. $6k in total for an exhaust that has cracked repeatedly in previous versions is not my idea of a good way to spend money. Profit margin on that exhaust is probably more than the car itself.

As far as I know, there is no Merf exhaust available for the M2C, at least in Europe
Maybe in US yes???

When it comes to suspensions, the Mpef are in my view the only missing choice BMW should have given the option to chose at time of config...

DCT/ no DCT, I had both .... I would never trade back my manual gear box ...

I agree with the other posts. The best deal will be a car without added M Performance parts. Get at least $3000 off of that MSRP and then you'll have a decent deal.

I know they are not free on most BMWs, however, were port installed on my M2C. They were not on the Monroney sticker nor did I order or pay for them. I guess I got lucky.

That one is impossible for us to answer. It really depends how you gonna use that car. Seattle traffic is horrible but if you commute outside of rush hours or only gonna use the car on weekends then manual all the way.

By the way I live in Vancouver and our traffic is almost as bad as yours and I still went for manual - no regrets.

These are not worth the cost. "Carbon fiber exaust tips $1,515
M performance exhaust $4,710"

Delete them and simply add a $1200 Fabapeed or Wagner catted downpipe. More HP / torque and MUCH better sound for less $.

Bad idea. Downpipes are illegal in Washington state.

Manual or dct is personal. I wanted manual but an extra discount for a showroom car with dct made me change my mind.
The only thing I really cannot do without is sport brakes (grey calipers)

Option three, Black manual. No question.

I went with LBB because I've never had a car that wasn't black and also it's so hard to keep black clean. That being said the black and silver look so good and I will always want the color I don't have.

No they aren't.

Catted downpipe are legal in 49 states. They have cats. In California, it depends on CARB regulations.
