My cousin sent me the link to the ad. I too feel it will crest 100 before fees. Hopefully more than 110 but the last sale gives me pause. Anything is possible on Bat as the atmosphere can lead to utter foolishness if the right two individuals are present. Either way , the sale should help correct the majority of 110k plus cars for sale on cars/Autotrader/etc.

This one is going to check the boxes of most buyers. I predict 119k on this one based on the spec. Doubt this will be a value buy like the last car.

Very low mileage 6MT in the marquis color. It should get six figures. I think the gold wheels would make it pop a little more in the ad, but it's still a good combo.

I agree it will give a lot of insight on the CS's asking big money on AutoTrader.

Wrong wheel color. Gold would have been the combo and I would have been a bidder, but black wheels meh.

I have a friend with this exact spec, it is beautiful in person. I do agree that most like the gold wheels. I actually prefer the black on against the blue. I'm very far from the masses though, I like the OG mineral grey over all the colors offered...

Different strokes. The spice of life. Enjoy your CS. Phenomenal car regardless of the configuration.

My exact spec, I just have 3k miles. Will be interesting to see where it falls.

Most would prefer the gold wheels but that wasn't for me.

Has there been a gold wheel/carbon brake/manual CS listed on BAT yet? That will set the standard. This is a steel brake car.

I don’t think CCB will matter in the long run.
MB is definitely the colour to have as it’s the poster colour but also it’s also the only one that is recognisable as a CS alone (no other F87 comes in this colour)
Gold vs Black may not matter too much because some like them some don’t. Black is probably safer.

And….. I think DCT will actually be the most ‘desired’ in future. Sure a manual will always be touted as a drivers car, but the penny is only just now starting to drop that the DCT is NOT an auto… BMW have said that they plan to continue manuals on future models…but you cannot buy a DCT anymore. F87 M2CS was the last car it came in. (Incidentally this is one of the reasons the F87 will remain a desired version even after the G87 comes out).
Just IMO of course 😁

I agree on all points except MB being 'definitely' the colour to get. Clearly many like it but more than 50% of buyers actively didn't. I don't think the 2nd hand market is going to vary that much from first buyers. The same goes for transmission, wheel colour, brakes etc - where preferences varied significantly by geo, let alone individual buyer. CCB second hand for me is the only active red (vs green) flag. As a collector long term owner however, get whatever you want - you after all control the condition it's maintained at and know its provenance.

What does this mean?

"The left door panel was replaced in February 2021."

Good question. Carfax looks clean. Seller noted that comment under an interior photo. Maybe the interior door panel was replaced? I have no idea.

it means the left door panel was replaced. Not the door but the door panel.

MB will always bring the most bucks in the resale market. Beautiful color but I'm still glad I bought SBM.

Very interesting take on the perceived value and appreciation of the DCT. It will be interesting to watch over the years.

Great looking car. Red + Blue FTW. Just needs carbon rotors.

Exterior panel or interior panel? And why for either?

"right front door trim panel" is on the work order posted at the end of the pics. Also mentions "leather". Pretty sure this has to be the interior panel.

Wrong wheel color. Gold would have been the combo and I would have been a bidder, but black wheels meh.
If you have +$100k to spend on a car, spending an extra +$5k on a gold set of OEM 763M wheels and tires is an easy solution.

You'd be surprised.

And recoup 80% of that cost by selling the black set, which would move immediately.
