Repainting is never ever a good idea for a car's value, unless you can convince BMW AG to do it in Germany or at a VDC.

Just picking a random thread to put this off topic link in, entertaining video of a guy that is going to rebuild a crashed paint to sample 992 GT3:

YT'ers are a different breed of "enthusiasts." They do it for the clicks, but if they had to sell it off and take a bit of a loss, they've already made up for it with eyeballs.

It's like the guy that has his video titled "bought my dream car" and sells it 6 months later. lol. Not much of a dream car my guy...

Do not repaint. Do a wrap or a paintable wrap.

No and no.. regardless of the color you have and I thought you had Misano IIRC?

I hesitate to even consider repainting a panel, let alone a whole car.. if we're talking value, given the questionable g87 design, nothing will hurt your value more than repainting the car, individual or not.

I'd be careful with wraps that require blading, seen lotsa bad blade jobs that has ruined perfectly good paint...

It feels like maybe you have the tiniest bit of FOMO considering the g87 and want to do something 'fresh' to your CS to fill that void, I could be wrong, but don't touch it, its already the superior car in every way with the exception of the s58 itself, its a shame we need to live with these designs given the superior platform of the s58 vs s55
