E85 near Watkins Glen?

Headed to WGI this summer and was curious if there's any gas stations near by that sell E85. I checked around but didn't really see any reliable information on it. Would rather not have to bring in 20 gallons from Michigan if I can avoid it

Anyone know if it's available? Either at the track, or close by? Thanks.

There’s a station down by Horseheads that had it last time I was up that way, but I’d call.

The hotels are cheaper down that way too, if it’s a busy track weekend. 25min drive to the track in the morning.

Nice! Also, does it actually have a blend pump? I'll be targeting somewhere around E50 I think. Would be nice to not have to mix.

I don't remember it being a blend pump and that app lists that feature incorrectly a lot, so I'd give them a call just to make sure they still have E85 and if they have a blend pump.

Worst case, WGI has 100 octane. In fact, everyone used to bitch b/c that's all WGI had for the longest time, but they also have 93 now. If you have time for the 15-20min roundtrip trip, pump gas is cheaper in town, tho.

I always bring enough gas for the day to the track. So less of a concern being close to the track.

I don't like buying fuel at the track mostly due to cost. Would prefer E85 if I can get it, and can always blend my own. I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if they still have it.

Thanks!

Looks like it's California only.

How’d this work out for you? Was it a blender, or premix’s, or did you need to blend your own E85?

Won't be going until August.

IIRC the track station has 95 or 97, as well as 100. They've also had (very expensive) 93 octane for several years now. I think they are also a depot where you can order Sunoco in cans to be delivered (there's usually a pile of empties behind their tanks). I'm back there late June and I'll try to keep an eye out.
