PS even in the front as driver you can carry 3 drink.

2 In the centre console
1 in the drivers door 2 series storage is oddly superior to 3/4 series door cards!

I often have protein shake blah blah post gym and these larger containers for me fit all options.

Then there is the passenger door also but there are 3 within drivers reach for sure.

Now...about all those bathroom 🚽 stops
It's not the thing mentioned in this thread, is it?

Is it like this:

If so, jealous. Lame that we don't get this in the US. I suspect BMW will say it is weight savings or some BS...

Yes that's exactly it. The little latch handle at the top folds the slim mid section down, kids can access small items in the boot mid journey, or it can be a huge armrest and warring child separator. It's interior of course yeah is a long item loader while still maintaining both rear seats. Then as per pic a little arm rest flap folds down with dual cup holders in.

No, it becomes 40-20-40 as he said. You can't fold half the backseat.

Nope fair enough you can fold 60:40 whichever side you fancy though but not 50:50.

Cars get a final quality check before leaving the factory. If something needs to be changed or repaired, it's done on site. Also eventual damage to a car incurred during transport is repaired before customers take delivery. I know someone still waiting for delivery of his car and puzzled why someone else took delivery already of the same car, despite later order. His delivery date got postponed. He now got the bad news that hail damage during transport and subsequent repairs caused the delay. His car will be in pristine condition (very high quality standards for the repairs).

Not saying at all that your car got damaged and repaired. Just do know that delays are sometimes caused that way. So don't get worried. Could be totally unrelated. Oh well, maybe they had to remove the S55 engine squeezed in by mistake inside your M2 instead of the N55 engine ?

Correct. Two cup holders integrated in that back seats armrest. My daughter likes it.
"Option 465 - Split-folding rear seats
The through-loading system is characterised by its rear seat backrest that can be divided in a 40:20:40 ratio for enhanced transport options, as well as more individualised seating and storage configurations. The right seat segment, as well as the smaller centre one, can be folded down individually, and the left seat segment can be folded together with the centre one. This allows the vehicle to offer an extremely high level of flexibility during packing and transporting. For example, two passengers can be seated comfortably in the rear, while long objects such as ski and snowboard bags can be transported at the same time. These are available in suitable sizes from Original BMW Accessories. The self-supported rear centre armrest features two cup holders. Items can be easily secured on the two additional fastening points in the luggage compartment.
Benefits at a glance:
- high level of flexibility when transporting people and goods
- provides space for two rear passengers and long objects such as ski and snowboard bags
- safe transport thanks to additional fastening points in the luggage compartment"
See for example this thread: http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...3#post19336933

Anyone know if the cluster replacement is a simple swap or much more involved? Confirmed pricing for the unit?

Too early yet perhaps. I'm interested though, 200 miles in and I 'see' the challenges.

Probably need firmware and coding and your car will be TMU after the swap.

Can you take close pic of the knee pad and also, a closer pic of the dash. I would like to see the details of the double stitching on the dash. I've heard rumors that they are faux double stitching are actually stamps on the dash.

Thanks!
No contrast stitching on the knee pad and real stitching on the dash.

Lame. I'll just retrofit the old part to get the contrast stitching. It's P/N 51168065460

Same as pre facelift one?

I believe so since they didn't made any changes to the drivetrain or rear bumper as far as I can tell.

Why is there a foglight switch on the inside if the car has no foglights?

Off topic: I'm guessing you didn't intentionally reply to the quote and plan on including all 40+ pics. Kindly edit your post and remove the pics. It spams the entire page.

Thanks

EDIT: Looks like you already took care of it. Thank You!

As M.B said. It is for the rear foglight.
