Officially Jumped on the Bandwagon
Put a deposit for a waiting list today and am number 12 at a dealer who hasn't gotten any cars yet but they are a huge dealer so I am not worried nor in a rush! They are saying I won't make MY16 which I am fine with because my m235i is still under lease and I will get closer to a time when I can get out of the lease easier.

But aren't those cars primarily, maybe even solely, HEA cars? How many cars that are non-HEA, but instead configurable allocations, have been delivered anywhere in the States?

Many of the HEA cars were configurable some have said. My gut tells me normal allocations will be MY2017.

I got a late HEA car. Was originally going to be AW but changed it over to BSM. Wasn't a big deal as it hadn't started production yet. Not sure about the transmission or Exec Pkg. It was how I wanted otherwise. That said it didn't seem like a big deal to change it out. I felt like I got a configurable M2 in my HEA. Only thing I didn't get was a trip to Munich.

ALL HEA allocations are technically configurable. It just comes down to whether the dealership has a particular common build they use (based on local factors) or allows the customer to pick those choices. |

I actually just switched some things around and got #5 at another dealer and they are taking me out of my leased M235i now so I can enjoy no payments until the M2 arrives
