Paid Markup

Has anyone here actually paid a markup? I see all these posts about marked up cars and people talking about long waits etc but I haven't heard of anyone actually paying a markup.

Has anyone received a discount?

Pretty sure no one on this board would pay a mark-up. And if they did they wouldn't admit it !!
I received my car in early April, first in town and I got a discount!

I had #3 spot at BMW of Mt Kisco, NY, even before the M2 was officially announced, and we agreed on MSRP. Once they announced the car, and the interest surrounding the M2 skyrocketed, the dealer hit me with "we need to inform you that we will be selling these at a 5k mark up". I asked them if thats how they do business around there and had my deposit refunded. Called up a few dealers, and found a #2 at MSRP. Now I have a production number, and my car enters production sometime this week

Oh, I had read that one as discounted down to the MSRP not discounted below MSRP.

Thanks.

BMW San Rafael is selling the BSM for $12k over, they also want the buyer to let them keep the car for a month after he pays for it so they can generate more foot traffic in the dealer. Absolutely ridiculous.

BMW San Francisco just got their HEA car (MG, Exec, MT), they're listing at $20k over.....pure insanity.

Would you mind telling us if it sold at MSRP or with mark-up?

And if possible, what that mark-up was.
