Sounds like M135i/235i with MP exhaust.

Car looks very composed and planted through the bends! This thing will be a cornering weapon!

Shifts sound very 8AT like to my ears... M235i racing software perhaps??

What is that the M2 is chasing a the 1:00 mark? Sounded really nice going by. Looks like a 5 or 7 series test mule with quad exhaust.

I've really got high hopes for this car as i ultimately plan to trade down my current M4 for one in the next couple of years.
Not too concerned about the limited colour options but will likely put M Performance buckets in there if I can as I don't really want leather seats.
Manual box is a must too.

Am I see carbon fiber trunk on these video or Iam absolutely wrong? Try to check it on full screen with 720p in 1:57 - 2:05 in video.

There probably is already a wait list at a lot of dealerships. Even then I don't see the car reaching the states till probably January/ February

The most impressive thing for me is how composed it looks. You can see several times that there is hard braking and the car never seems to look out of control (see tail lights flashing prior to turn-in). Same with its composure along what might be the Adenauer Forst turn, it copes well with little body roll and judging by when the driver gets on the acceleration it seems to stay planted with little push or snappy oversteer. Well balanced.

It is just a dirty black trunk. BMW uses carbon reinforced plastic so it doesn't have the nice weaves, just like the CSL and all newer bimmers.

To me, the sound is just "ok", not great. If there is one thing BMW trails AMG and Audi in, its the sound of their high performance cars. The other Germans seems to make a great effort to make the cars sound "hair raising" I just saw a video of the RS3 with its 5 cylinder, sounds BRUTAL! BMW will continue to lead the pack with driving dynamics, but I just wish they put more effort in making their M cars sound fantastic
