So what are your impressions of the sway bar now that it's been on the car for a bit?

Funny enough not driven much since the install, all flat and level around town. with steering always on sport, I feel like it's slightly tighter, more responsive.

I hoped to get a track event this summer but fell through.

Been following the progress of your build so far, really impressed with everything you've done and all the videos you've made to help the community. Thanks for all that you do.

I'm also running a Bimmertech amp too but it's difficult to fine tune the amplifier on your own and unfortunately Bimmertech support wasn't willing to do a remote tuning session with me either. Is there any chance you'd be willing to share a copy of your tune/.apfx file that you had created after your remote tuning session with Bimmertech with myself and others? That would be tremendous if you're willing.

It's probably saved off on your laptop if that's what you used when you hooked up the the amp (you would have been prompted to save off the tune after you loaded the tune onto the amp). I'll keep an eye out for it! Thanks so much!!

I am REALLY excited to share the first part of my three part series on improving the sound quality of your car! Each piece will be stand alone, but they also all build on each other!

This is stage 1 - Speaker rings from SoundSkins Global, an incredibly simple and easy way to noticeably improve your car audio system. So much of your OEM, and especially upgraded speaker sound is lost into your door card or back into the door itself.

The sound rings seal your door speakers completely up against the card, everything comes forward. Also, with the acoustic foam panel behind your speaker (did you know 50% of your speaker energy goes backwards into the door as 'back wave'?) rear sound is channeled more forward.

This is incredibly easy work, a few simple tools and makes a noticeable difference, I am not kidding. Passengers in my car, after this change, have immediately commented on speaker clarity and the richness of the sound.

(hint hint, this also would be perfect to pair with my stage 2 DIY coming soon.. WOW!)

Check it out, absolutely worth it for OEM or upgraded audio systems!

For the stupid people in the room..... where's the list?

(admittedly, it was a loooong night in The Sim last night, and I got blasted out of bed by my wife after FAR too little sleep!)

Oh great-- now I'll have to figure out Soundskins.

I just got the mirror in the mail-- going to (eventually) follow your DIY to change the rear-view and get rid of the "clown's nose".

Keep up the good work!

Thanks man.. just wait until you see my full stage 3 install of the Soundskins!! I am sincerely floored at the difference this makes.. stage 1 and 2 is an easy great middle place to do the work. Noticeable drop in road noise (-4db on average as measured for me) and significant improvement in audio quality coming out of the door mids.

I plan on doing every single BMW I have access to here shortly in the full stage 3 setup asap.

Recently I got a chance to install the awesome P3 Gauges from Kies Motorsports into my BMW M2 Competition, and really love the upgrade!

The install is simple (even more so if you order WITH vents) and brings vital information at a glance while driving. Even every day driving can be improved with more data, let alone if you get a track weekend or more in as well.

I highly recommend this easy install if you are looking to upgrade your driving data, plus yeah, they look cool too!
