Anyone else at port?

Just moved backwards on the tracker. Apparently the vehicle has been unloaded in Brunswick, GA and the car is headed to the dealer in So. Miss. Pickup and road trip scheduled for the 17th. I can’t wait.

On a side note, what gives with the shipping route? My boat went to Baltimore, then North to Newark, then South to Brunswick, and now it’s headed North to Chuck Town. Call me crazy, but it seems like there’s a more efficient route there.

They have to plan for logistics of unloading and loading with most of the loading occurring in Charleston after the vessel is empty.

Interesting. Didn’t know it worked that way. Since they send the ships off to the EU full of M-SUVs, I suppose it makes sense that they’d want the boat empty and that as the final stop.

It's scheduled for Baltimore early next week. You'll be able to track for free when close to shore.

thats what I see that ETA is 7th Sept to Baltimore but the website was last refreshed Aug 24th

Apparently I misinterpreted the status. When I called bmw they said it had already arrived at the vpc and will be in transit to the dealership soon. Estimated arrival 9/15. My car just got loaded on to Victoria Highway in the last 24-48 hours. It is currently going through the English Channel, expected to arrive in Baltimore on Sept 13th.

Usually, it's anywhere from less than a day to 2 days. As you'll see from tracking, Baltimore gets pretty congested, so I have seen vessels anchoring in the vicinity as they await their turn at port.

Same date for me too , where are you located? I think that's an estimated date because it doesn't take more than 1 day to come from the port to Atlanta. Its already released to the carrier and should start tomorrow
