Question Stage 2 tune. Is this enough?

Ive been in contact with some local ECU tuning shops asking about a stage 2 tune on my BMW M2 DCT. Only one has reached back to me and told me I only need an aftermarket full exhaust including downpipe. Is this really enough?

I have a HJS downpipe, MP exhaust and a charge pipe. Ive been considering the VRSF 5'' intercooler. Are these enough for a stable stage 2 tune?

Stage 2 you need Hi-flow DP & upgraded intercooler (which one will depend on your climate and use, eg track?), charge pipe is recommended. No need to change from stock exhaust so your MPerf is good. An issue with the oem exhaust is the valve closing at high rpm/speed, exactly when isn't stated but it does even if in Sport+, I have the valve open full-time.

I live in Finland where the climate is mostly cold but can get hot during summertime. I intend to take the car to track, but only a few times a year. And I will mostly daily the car

I normally suggest a 6" intercooler but since you live in a cold climate, and fitment on the M2 is tight with larger intercoolers, the 5" option should be fine as long as its high density.

MAD / BMS / VRSF would all work.

Another good option would be the CSF, since its 5.5"

I would go with our 5 inch HD Intercooler. It would be perfect for your setup and install is a breeze.
