M3GymNut, if you confide me what you bought as present for your wife's imminent birthday and expressly ask me not to disclose yet, then how would you feel if I go out and tell your wife and friends shortly afterwards what present you have bought for her birthday ?

I want to hear this WAIL. Any volunteers?

This is what they said about the M4 CS. Perhaps predictably, much of this will apply to the M2 CS. For me and that fact that I use my cars as DDs, mean that tyres that don't work so well in the wet are out - one of the big differences here. And of course if I did want them, I could fit them to my cars....

I like the blue, but am also considering the black. (I've ordered the car.)

Not so sure about gold wheels though!

I think it's just a demonstration of how well balanced the CS is. Most are caught up on the paper specs and how they are similar to the M2C. I suspect the reviews will share that this car is a different animal. Not necessarily a more ferocious animal.

I don't think every dealer would get an allocation. M certified dealers with high volumes would get a few cars. And then it would go to "regular" M certified dealers.

That makes sense I suppose - Iím hopeful that I have a spot if I want it. We shall see.

I hope it works.

I refuse to pay more than MSRP, so if it becomes one of those situations, I will just pass and get something else.

This is how I see it as well. I'm positioned very well to get a build slot, but will walk away if we suddenly begin discussing an ADM. I don't mind paying a premium for a special model, but it's not going to be a shakedown.

Agreed! I'm definitely out if they slap a market adjustment.

I'm perfectly OK, just sitting and waiting for a better opportunity or possibly getting one down the road.

Point being.....it's not so out of this world that I'd be willing to jump in with both feet and in any rush to do so.

The thing that sucks for me is the timing - my F80 lease is up in March, so trying to plan and juggle all this isn't ideal. I am really hoping that pricing is announced sooner rather than later, so I can at least know which direction to take.

^ I'm with you guys. I expect to get an allocation. If my optioned pricing is low $80k or less, I am likely in. Above that IDK. The dealer I'm working with does not charge an ADM.
