This sh*t rattles like crazy. Pretty sure the stiff suspension is a big part of it.
Meanwhile, my 13 year old 330xi doesn't make a sound - opposite of the M2, this is likely due to a softer suspension. |

Yes. Had exactly that, sounds like coming from behind or in the sceen enclosure, but in my car actually coming from the ceiling switch/light panel. Was fixed by BMW but came back again.

My 2019 M2C has all the exact same rattles as my 2016 M235i. Not surprised, or bothered by them. They come and go depending on the ambient temp (summer vs. winter). Often times I've experienced that the fix ends up causing more problem than the original rattle to begin with.

I have had one rattle. For the longest time I thought it was coming from the passenger door panel but I realized anytime I had a passenger in the car there was no rattle so it's something to do with the passenger seat. It hasn't been bad enough for me to track down but I'll probably look into it closer in the spring as I think it's something either under the seat or on the plastic on the side of the seat.

Hey folks, I’ve a 18 M2 LCI with Fabspeed DP and MPE. I hear a rattle in the area of the passenger door when I’m around 3K RPM. Do you guys have experience with that?

In the B-pillar? Sounds like its next to the passenger's seat? If so, mine has that also. My 2016 M235i before my 2019 M2C had it as well. When I had my M235i I tried all kinds of stuff to fix it. Nothing ever made any difference. With my M2C I've just accepted it as a quirk of the 2-series chassis.
