Just installed my Remus catback system I picked up on Black Friday and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Nope. It's got a short single pipe to dual that attached to the cat and its dual all the way back with dual cans. Has a nice growl to it.

Think I'm going with the Active Autowerke signature system, I would go for the Remus but it's basically the same price and I think having the mid pipe makes the sound more unique.
If Remus was under $3k that's what I would get, but for $4k I'm getting a full system no question. |

Ordered AA midpipe today was gonna go with full AFE or AA but midpipe clip sounded so good I couldn't justify the AA full system and 3'' AFE midpipe seemed inferior

Why not just go custom for these prices?

Well, I just put a deposit down on a LightWeight full exhaust (keeping the OPFs) and their data display which displays key information like oil temperature and allows you to open a close exhaust valves, etc. I'll drive from the UK to Germany over the Easter weekend to get it fitted. From what I've seen and heard it looks like a great piece of kit and well manufactured. I'm pretty excited about it!!

I'm torn between the Eisenmann and the Akrapovic.
Does anyone have experience of hearing both in the flesh (or not just YouTube)? Can you tell me a bit more about the difference? I would like to be able to creep around like stock when I need, but let it scream when I want it to. |

I wonder if going to dealership and listening to MPE would give a good ballpark. Does anyone know what MPE sounds most similar to? |

The Eisenmann RACE on the E92 sounded epic, but it was a bit obnoxious but not like a boy racer sort, it was more like an American muscle car, but it did drone at 70mph. The Akrapovic I had on an E93 M3 and a 997 GT3. It was epic on both, no drone. On the M3 the Eisenmann sounded better, but the Akrapovic was the better package. However I would be tempted by the Eisenmann on the M2 as it's got switched valves (which it didn't on the M3), so might be possible to turn on obnoxious when I want it! Plus is cheaper... Just keen to see if anyone has experienced both on an M2. |
