For M2C absolutely yes.

For M2CS might be an issue because of the front lip.
Will report in two weeks once install it.

When the dealer installs these, do you get to pick the ride height? Or is there a "BMW Recommended" height setting? If so, what is it?

I believe its 595mm Front, 600mm Rear, from the bottom wheel lip to top of Fender arch.

Here is my experience.

MP coilovers vs M2CS adaptive suspension:

https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...0#post27471550

Post 21 + post 23

A strong recommendation to those, who are about to choose the suspension:

Please very carefully choose what you read on this forum as well as on other forums. I highly recommend checking also other post of those forum members, who give their advice. Some of them might be just die-hard fans of a specific car brand and their advice has very little in common with the real world experience. Some may also be buying their first sports car of certain price niche and for them everything will look just perfect. Probably the best advice you will find from those, who own several different sports cars of different car brands as they tend to be the most objective.

So carefully choose what you read.

Here is what I found

From my research the M perf coils are just rebranded KW V3, with some spec changes mainly that the KW V3 allows you a wider range of lowering. which for me i want to keep my car at stock height, maybe a LITTLE bit lower so i didn't care about that. so if these are really just rebranded KW V3, and you dont care about going super low...

The MPS uses different colour adjusters, there are additional spring seat components, different springs and the design of the rear spring on the MPS is one-piece while that on the KW V3 is two piece.

What - if anything - has been changed internally is open for debate.

Following up on this. It's been a bit since I drove my car last and I took it out yesterday for a spin. The rears definitely seemed to squeak more frequently now when cold. Once everything warmed up, they seemed to go back to only on rough bumps. The sound in and of itself doesn't bother me much, just concerned that they broken or something. I doubt it, but I'll call the dealer and see what they think.

The other poster mentioned bushings, I think it could be that.

KW appear to sell the bushing separately, so there's that.

Or, it could be the plastic inserts above the rear springs. I heard stories some people changed the bushings which didn't remove the squeak. I, too, have a slight squeak at low speed on cold days/mornings that seems to go away as the temperature rises. I don't think there's a consensus as to what causes that squeak.

Thanks. I don't think I'm going to worry about it unless there's a change in performance. I'll just consider it a part of the many noises the "raw" car makes.

I have M performance suspension on M2C with front milway camber plate street (front camber -2,4 and rear camber -1,5)...

On very bad condition roads with big bumps, sometimes i got "klonk" sound from front dampers... it was on BMW recommend settings (front bump -6 and rebound -9, rear bump -6 and rebound -12)..
So i change front dampers on bump -10 and rebound -12 and its like OEM suspension... for track session i will harder front dampers again on recommend bmw settings

I also have the squeaking and the clunky noise mentioned above at slow speeds. Glad it's not just me!!

Honestly I'm not that impressed with the M perf coilover, they are quite harsh on the road but too soft on track. I'll be looking to swap to some ohlins R&T in the future

I am happy on track i always settings hard settings on front suspension - 9 rebound and -4 bump...

6K miles on my 2020 M2C with MPERFORMANCE Suspension. Everything set to BMW recommended specs. O issues so far- my shop took there time to get everything dialed- in. You can have issues if the dealer or who ever installed them did not take time to install them to BMW recommended.

See, this is where I have a major problem with the M Perf's. What is the point of having "adjustable" coilovers if they only work set at one point.

I swapped mine out for Nitron's and they work perfect with zero squeaks/clonks or knocks at what ever settings I choose.
