Anyone have experience with RW Carbon?

Looking at some carbon fiber bits for the car and some of the stuff from RW Carbon caught my eye. Anyone have an opinion or personal experience with their stuff? Looking specifically at the splitter and side winglets.

They're no different than buying from aliexpress or eBay. All they do is "quality control" the parts from the factories that build them and then resell to the customer. I wouldn't expect the clear coats to last.

Good to know, thanks. I figured the more expensive ones were still cheap shit.

I was considering Vorsteiner but I know when I get the inevitable chin rub I will be on my hands and knees crying...with the RW stuff, it's more of an "oh well that sucks". So I'm just curious if anyone has any real world experience with them as far as fitment and durability, etc.

If you're looking at the RKP splitter knockoff I personally would be hesitant because it doesn't come with the reinforcement plate that the RKP one comes with. I'm sure the real one did their R&D and seemed it necessary to have the reinforcement inside the bumper for the splitter to be attached to but the knockoffs don't include it. Buyer beware is all I'm saying

In that case I'd say sure go for it and I agree it's easier to buy a cheaper front splitter if there's a good chance it'll break.

There's tons of posts about RW Carbon fitment on various bimmerpost forums. Just do a quick search. But like I said they're just a reseller

Thanks for the info! Well I bit the bullet and ordered the Vorsteiner. Now fingers crossed I can stay away from bad angles and road imperfections!

I'd love a splitter but fear I'll shred it up in short order.
