FS: F87 M Parts (Grilles, Diffuser, Exhaust)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I sold my M2 and I'm selling the following M Performance parts:

- OEM M Black Grilles ($190 USD)
- M CF Diffuser ($550 USD)
- MPE with Titanium Tips ($1350 USD)

All parts are in great condition. The grilles and diffuser were on the car for less than 2000 miles. The MPE was purchased from a local member who had an M2 Performance Edition; I believe he put about 8000 miles on it and it's been on my car for another ~1500 miles. The exhaust was installed and removed by my local BMW dealership.

I prefer local pickup; I can meet up within a reasonable distance from Richmond, VA. I can send more pictures upon request.

Thanks.

Interested in the diffuser. Any significant marks or scratches? Thanks!

Nice, the only caveat is you would have to ship as I live in Ohio.

@ aezzle Have you had any issue with Exhaust? Heard MPE has some rattling issue. it has a cold start vibration issue that requires welding to permanently fix. It also isn't a true catback, it requires cutting. did you have that issue on your M2 install? Also heard that It drones at highway speeds.

Please let me know if you can't find a local buyer for the diffuser and would be willing to ship. No idea what one of these costs to safely pack & ship...

I don't know what you're talking about, the exhaust was an absolute joy!

As for vibration, yes during cold starts it rattles just a bit then it goes away once the RPM's drop .. this is kind of known about the MPE and no need to fix it imo. There is no rattle when you're driving it (at least that I can notice). The car was always garaged so I'm sure the rattling was a bit "more amplified", not sure how much you'd notice it outside tho.

As for the install, yes they cut and weld just downstream of the cat. There was no issues with the install/removal.

As for the drone, you'll notice some drone on the highway but it's not that bad imo. However, I've always had the radio/music on or windows down so it never bothered me. All this is subjective of course; there is no doubt the MPE is louder than the stock exhaust but nothing uncivilized.
