Below msrp

Aside from the special cases such as military discount, etc has anyone been able to get below msrp? Even 500 or a thousand below msrp? I just got an allocation at msrp and wanted to make sure the below-msrp deals aren't happening before I pulled the trigger. Thanks in advance!

I got a 12% discount. Granted, the M2 is much more expensive over here due to taxes.

Congrats on your deal. I don't believe the USAA incentive can be used with the BMW CCA incentive. Here is what is listed on the BMW CCA website:

Oh damn, I missed that on the application Thanks for pointing it out

But I will take the 2k over the 500 anyway

Origin M, I hope you weren't referring to me as a BS'r. that was just an oversight on my part and does not justify you pulling punches at someone you don't know.... Just say'n

Ok so I have returned from the dealer after completing my paperwork for the PCD pick up on Wed and can confirm some things but must correct some also.

Here are the facts

1. You can get .9% thru BMWFS, I did with the USAA membership or you can do some Demo affiliation

2. You cannot get the 2k USAA rebate if you finance with BMWFS, it gets knocked down to 1k. I think I am still ahead about 300 bucks over the length of the loan doing the .9% and 1k rebate over 1.9% and 2k rebate.

3. They informed me that USAA cars are not eligible for the $500 BMWCCA rebate but I am not clear if that is if you purchase it thru their service or just use the rebate. I will still send it in and see what happens but if so not going to be the happiest.

The form also states:
"This program is not available in conjunction with other special purchase programs offered by BMW NA or BMW centers. (including but not limited to the USAA and Corporate Fleet programs)"

Ineligible Vehicles:
USAA, Military, Diplomatic and Corporate Fleet vehicles do not qualify

4. The dealer rounded the discount up to 2k off MSRP to try and take some of the bitterness away so price started at 57,795

In regards to your first point, what do you mean by “demo affiliation?” Does the m2 has to have been used as a demo car or do they just report it to BMW as such?

Gotcha. Thx

I was offered 1k off msrp plus an extra 1k on my trade (at KBB). The car is an 18’ fully loaded w/moon roof LBB. They also added the carbon fiber mirrors and stainless pedals. I think I’m doing good, but a little hesitant due to the CS rumors and the possible impact that will have on the cars value. What do you guys think?

My take on the CS is that it will be pretty hard to get & at least another years wait. It won't be produced in a quantity to have much impact on the value of the current M2.

Naturally, the value of almost any car decreases with subsequent model year releases.

The current M2 isn't an investment. It's a awesome car that you get to drive, every day if you want. What's that worth to you?

m2ruder, Can you elaborate on the number .1 item from your post a little bit more?

1. You can get .9% thru BMWFS, I did with the USAA membership or you can do some Demo affiliation

Does this only applies to USAA members? Because I'm not one.

Any restrictions on the type of FICO score to qualify for the 0.9% interest.

I'm expecting my M2 sometime in late January or early February. So, I need to start looking into my financing options.

With m2’s starting to sit on dealer lots (at least by me in Philly/NJ/NYC area) how are discounts looking? I’ve been offered 1k off plus another 1k on a trade, which is above its value. Along with the 1.9% loophole.

#1 yes you have to be a USAA member for the .9% now as far as the demo program I know nothing about it...I just was told if it was listed as a dealer demo you can get the rate. This might have other adverse effect somewhere but i have no idea

As far as FICO score, mine is 820 but I think it applies to having a score that BMW financial will accept so I just think you have to have "good" credit not super high but you need to ask.

I was going with my CU as a bail out at 1.9% if they didn't qualify me but 1.9% seems to be everywhere
