Sport Mode Setting

May be I missed some of the previous posts, but the suspension of M2 is fixed. Why in the Sport Mode setting, there is a few choices: Drivetrain; Chassis; or Drivetrain & Chassis?

I don't feel there is any difference in the suspension nor the weight of the steering wheel even I included the Chassis in the selection?

My guess along with tightening the steering- nothing. To save money, they use the same software as the M235 / M240.

Cheers,

Ken

As mentioned no changes happen to the suspension/chassis at all.
I notice only a very marginal difference in the steering weight when changing between Comfort & Sport.

Totally agreed, try to feel the difference today, really negligible.
I am not sure it's because my car just done 750km, see if it has bigger difference after 2,000km service.

The steering will feel the same. It's not like it will be heavier after a while. I can easily feel the difference in the steering going from comfort to sport.

I just found out in the manual mentioning about the electronics, it seems if I did not include chassis in the Sport Mode setting, the DCT will be in "1" which is the slowest reaction time, while if included the chassis, the DCT will be in "2" which will respond faster. And the DCT will only be in "3" at Sport+ mode.

In M3/M4, you can choose between "1" to "3" for the DCT.

What i found frustrating in sport mode is that u can't activate MDM mode at the same time...
btw, u will find the car much faster after the first service
Enjoy!!

Throttle mapping and shifting are the most significant changes, the car will shift more aggressively if you have a DCT and the car is in sport or sport plus.

How so? I still got 500km to go for the break-in service, don't see how an oil change could make the car much faster.
