Week 7 peeps

Don't mean to derail the thread but I find it interesting that no matter how few colors there are to choose from, I still agonize over my choice and still think about changing it. Isn't that vierd? I guess thank God there aren't more color options for this car or I'd really go insane.

I'm in the same boat - been back and forth over MG and BSM. Going with my initial choice.

AW was my first choice but then I got hooked to the Mineral Grey Photos and Pictures thread. MG M2 for life ......

Does anyone know when the M accessories finalize before it gets into production or it should of been part of the build from the very beginning? I have a feeling those accessories aren't a priority till it gets closer to production.

It's time to keep a close eye on our build process. I'm anticipating that most of our cars will go into 150 by mid next week.

Let's keep each other updated.

Ordered my car last weekend, week 7 build as well

Was told that car should be here around mid April... cant wait...

If you want to make any changes, better hurry!! I'll be checking daily next week to see when mine hits 150. Still 112 as of this morning.

Hey everybody I actually also just confirmed I'm week 7 through Genius. My build is LBB, 6mt, Carplay. But I'm having thoughts about switching to white and adding exec. I know I need to do it like now.

I'd add Executive Package whether you change color or not. AW is good but it doesn't highlight the car. MG is great and it's subtle, yet highlights all exterior lines.

Appreciate the comments I actually just sent an email requesting the exec pack to be added. Its funny my brother who is in industrial design mentioned the same thing about LBB highlighting the body better than AW. Ive always loved and have previously had a AW E90 M3 but on the M2 LBB really works.

DCHOI According to Genius, production date is only confirmed once the car goes into production. As long as you have a confirmed production week, you're good to go. Fingers crossed ...

I totally agree on the Long Beach Blue showing the flares and curves better than Alpine white, and I have been torn over those two colors from the start. However, I personally just don't like that particular shade of blue. I got the chance to see all four colors in person out in the sun at the BMW driving school in Palm Springs, California last year and if the blue had been "bluer" or darker (like Le Mans Blue, which I love and would have taken in a second), I would have gone for it but ended up just going with white which I know will always look good to me. I also like white because it shows the most contrast with the black trim, wheels and tires. Looks mean to me and I don't mind saving $700 either.

Just put down deposit today on a car someone bailed on. I'm told it's Week 7 but don't have a VIN yet.

I called this morning - nothing new. Still 112. Genius didn't seem to have much info and told me that I was scheduled to "start" production Week 7. Obviously, a new hire. I'll try back later this week.
