Is that not a valid question? Wondering if I kept my foot planted the computer would not allow the RPM's to go to redline or fall too far while I am shifting. I know how to drive a manual but I have not had a car that performs the work for you.

The Cadillac ATS-V actually has a computer controlled no-lift system regardless of when you shift, it's slick but weird to use. |

I am guessing if you are below the target RPM it will blip the throttle. If you are above, it probably doesn't do anything because you should already be off the accelerator and you can't bring them down magically.

Drive with Traction full off then in sport. The revs post shift fall much faster with DSC and traction off. Also the DME adds a safety net from a standing start. It adds revs, kinda like a stall safety, before the RPM's dip, so I'm not talking about a the standard manual feeling. |

That's what I miss about the S54. Instant throttle response, no rev hang, neck snapping engine braking. All to gone to save a tiny bit of emissions
