Got my allocation finally! ...been on the waiting list since June when I've put down the deposit.

While I first wanted LBB (and it's definitely a great color) I've really come love Mineral Grey especially the black kidney grills and black side grills. Those are a MUST with that color. IDK, that fat ass on the M2 just looks MUCH nicer in MG and the front looks a lot meaner than LBB. Also ordered it in 6MT (not negotiable with any bmw I own)

Hopefully it will arrive in February here in Northern NJ

I received a call this week also to order but declined and ended up being the first in line for LCI MY2018.

Hmmm, same situation as me. I wanted LBB, changed my mind and got MG. Now, after 3 months of taking delivery, I wish I had gotten LBB. I feel like my car doesn't get enough attention due to it being MG.

LBB does get lots of attention! I get comments daily from random strangers, even cowboys in big ass trucks LOL.

Congrats! Mine went into production yesterday! Genius said I can expect week 2 production completion (originally was scheduled for week 1). I was debating between LBB and BSM, and ended up keeping BSM. I saw a LBB the other day and I really loved it and was thinking about switching, but ended up keeping BSM on the order. I just love black BMWs and wasn't convinced I wouldn't get tired of the LBB after a while.

MG has been my pick all along, but if it's immediate attention you are looking for, it's probably the "worst" of the color options.

I would say BSM/AW/MG are about the same in terms of attention drawing in stock form, but there is something about BSM to make it meanest with all black/CF parts on.

Well attention is a double edge sword as cops will notice you too

No Personally I think it comes down to this: LBB is the sexiest color. But MG is best to really see its lines on the car in almost any light. AW is the worst for lines but the only color if you want the performance stickers.

I'm all about the CS, LCI, whatever comes to fruition. However, I do not want to wait 8-12 months for a speculative car and speculative $. I also have no fear the current car will lose substantial residual value. Way to much lost drive time waiting.

Reason why I politely declined was I want to do European delivery. Q1 is not a good time for an ED due to the weather. I'm shooting to do an ED Q3.

I just got an allocation as well. My dealer only got 2 allocations, so not a ton of cars coming in. Also, wanted to compare - my scheduled build date is early March, so delivery in April. I got the #1 allocation in the current group as well. Interesting how significant the delay is for the holidays. I'm about the CS as well, but that'll be too long a wait.

You need to murder out your kidney grilles, side markers, exhaust tips and paint your front reflectors and tint windows. Then watch the gawking commence. Ohh, some wheel spacers wouldn't kill you either.
