Haha Daddy talks.
For rear facing (and covert to front facing after age of 1.5~2) I would recommend Clek Foonf. They are safest rated car seat in the industry. Pretty heavy tho and very rigid with steel support back and front. And not cheap. I priotize the safety.. But not sure if it will fit fine with M2 rear seat.. This thing is not small.. |

Yes very solid.
Canada's goverment approval on kids car seat and stroller is known to be the toughest to pass for manufacturers. And this is far beyond that level and tested to be the safest car seat out there in Canadian market. I consider the safety first when it comes to kids stuff (all parents are same I am sure) and if extra money pays the purpose of having car seat for kids, I am willing to spend extra. Very happy with purchase (but it is not easiest install and remove compared to other seats avaialble). |

I have this one: Britax USA Marathon ClickTight https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013YCX22I
Fits great for forward facing. Rear facing is unusable unless I fold the front passenger seat down. My 3-year old daughter loves driving in Daddy's car. "Vrooom! Let's go fast!" |

Suggestion
All car seats sold in the US have to meet the same federal safety standards, but that's where the similarities end. Some are better than others for taller kids, some are more comfortable for long-haul trips, and some are much easier to install. It's crucial to have the right car seat because a poorly installed seat can compromise your child's safety. Add all that to the fact that many car seats are expensive, and choosing the right one can feel impossible.
Few baby and kid products are subject to as much scrutiny as cheap infant car seats, so we had plenty of expert tests and reviews to look at while making our picks. Of course, it's also important to consider real-world use from parents who aren't lab testers or child passenger safety technicians. That includes my own experiences - I've been through six car seats and counting between two children. All of that feedback led to our picks: an ultra-easy-to-install infant seat, a similarly easy-to-use convertible for older toddlers and preschoolers, a harness-to-booster that can keep kids safe before they're completely ready for a booster, and a versatile booster that might be the last car seat your child needs. We also chose alternative car seats in each category that are less expensive for parents on a strict budget. |

Baby Car Seats are good to have when it comes to the safety of your baby. The Car Seat market is rising day by day.
However, due to large number of models available in the market, the parents get confused to choose the best one. That's embarrassing for them. Choosing the best one is tricky. Here you can see the comparison between Britax Pioneer Vs Frontier which are the professional car seats and can provide you full satisfaction for the safety of your baby. |

I would also recommend the Clek Foonf as well. It really is one of the most compact and safest car seat. They are convertible, so you use it forward facing when toddler grows.
As someone else recommend, try them out in your car. They do reduce blind spot visibility, if you put diagonally behind you. |

I'm retired and single without children, so I really have no input, but looking through the responses, I didn't see any from BMW.
Curiously I found the following web site which appears they did offer them in the past. https://the-dad.com/drive-safe-with-...w-child-seats/ |

We’ve had a pair of Nuna Ravas in our cars for several years and I find them top-notch. In addition to them getting high marks for safety and having a high weight limit like the Clock, they’re well designed for quick installation and removal, and adjustments don’t require them to be removed.

I found US car seats to be far inferior to the European equivalents. For some reason US seats can't use mechanical connections to the Isofix brackets and they have to are belt tensioner that connect to them.
We ended up getting a Cybex seat from Germany. It's awesome as it swivels 360 degrees so you can buckle your child in the swivel to be rear seating so no wrestling with a belt and it's rock solid. I really don't know why US seats suck so much. It's a 30 second swap from the X5 (where it is most of the time) to the M2. When rear facing you do lose some legroom in the passenger seat but forward facing you can push the seat so the front passenger is as comfy as needed.
