Bootmod3 Stage 1 91 Octane analysis/Suggestions
Hello Everyone, first time running BM3. I'm currently running the following:
Stage 1 91 Octane OTS Map with Dinan Free Flow Exhaust Evolution Raceworks Charge Pipe aFe Magnum flow pro dry s air filter I'm looking to add an FMIC - Looking at Evolution Raceworks Competition Intercooler. Knowing that I didn't go with the ACN 91 Map (I know most CA gas isn't up to its rating) I filled up with Shell 91 and topped off with about 2.5 gallons of VP Racing fuel 101 Octane at a local spot. I had a fun drive this morning, hit the canyons, car felt great. I can definitely feel more punch. Ran a few pulls with my buddy in a C6 Z06, 3rd gear, walked him, first time I've been able to do this. Also I noticed it gets a bit more squirrelly now in 1st all the way to 3rd, I've got RE71s and there's more spin until it finally grips. I wanted to know if anyone can take a look at my datalogs, see if there is anything crazy going on. I did see IATs go up and also detected some knocks. Should I consider going to ACN91 Map? Should I use more higher octane? Any suggestions for a tuner that could analyze the data and make any recommendations? Thanks for any suggestions. |

I'm not an expert, but can let you know what I found out. Do the logs in dsc off mode. Small knocks rolling back only a couple/few degrees are normal but if you have larger knocks you are concerned about, then raise a support ticket (from the map's screen) and they'll be able to review and advise according. |

Thank you widetyres! I ran these with DSC off to make sure nothing was limiting the car. I'll keep my eyes peeled for any larger knocks, thanks for the advice!!!
