MG beast is here, PCD was amazing!

So I've got the same rave reviews of my new M2 that everyone else has shared. I cannot believe this car is finally mine, it hasn't sunk in yet!!

But also wanted to give another plug for performance center delivery. It was beyond amazing. I've never had the opportunity to drive cars and suvs that way, the instructors are fabulous (hot lap in an M3 was insane), and overall it was a fantastic day.

Car is off getting xpel applied, more pics later.

Would love to see a MG in person so be sure and let me know if you will be heading out to one of the meets. We had el ban's LBB and an AW together last week here at Orlando Cars and Coffee but no MG yet! I'm often in the Tampa area also

Yeah for sure, we can figure out a way to get them all together. There's another MG in the tampa area too!

Congrats! I received a production number for mine but I'm very interested in knowing timelines from other users. I too went with MG I added black kidney and side grills.

Can you share your timeline?

Congrats on having your order underway!

I got my production number in early September and production started on 9/29/16. Production completed on 10/20/16 and the car reached the port in GA on 11/10/16. Had I not been taking performance center delivery I would have gotten it sooner, but because I waited to come down to SC, I took delivery on 12/16/16. For what it's worth, I had put my name on a reservation list in January 2016 and was #6 in line to order.

There is a thread here on timeline, lots of folks have reported to it so probably the best way to get information. Also there are threads on other models that have lots of information on tracking your car through the process. Once it hits a ship you can track it also. First step is to call BMW and get a build week.

Nice ride...brings back memories. I miss that feeling and the new car romance. PDC is a truly amazing experience.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still in love, but @ 13K miles it's a different kind of relationship
