In case anyone is interested, I test-drove a GR Corrolla yesterday. The car handles amazingly in the corners. I get the hype. Compared to the M2, the ride is harsher, the radio is trash, the exhaust note was ok, and the lack of torque is apparent. For a track car or daily, it would be amazing, though.

Any of you guys ever available on short notice drives during the week? I often make a run up north, close to Oklahoma to do some data logging on my car… if ever any of you would be interested in driving along with me, let me know and I’ll reach out.
It’s roughly 225 miles round trip, but the drive is awesome, and several good places to eat along the route. Takes me 4-5 hours total time start to finish. |

Hi, I can... but there are 2-3 different ways I go to get to where I'm going. Essentially it's St.Joe, on the way to Nocona, but I take the road that goes over a long bridge to Oklahoma, across the Red River. I just threw it out because it's an amazing drive, and I figured I'd share. Most people don't want to drive that far, or be gone from home/spouse/kids/chores that long, but if anyone is ever interested I'll post a route. No big deal... Enjoy your weekend, everyone.

Beautiful. Give some details on the new ride!!! We have an 2020 X3MC as well as the M2C. The X3 is an amazing car. Forgive me if I'm behind on the details on it, but if you just got it, and have never had one, you'll love it. Trust me, it'll do everything the M2 will do, including canyon carving and it's FAST too! Congrats it is a beautiful car.

It's a 2022. Bought it from BMW of Grapevine. CPO. 11k miles. One owner. $77k. It has every option but the wheels aren't 892M and it has Conti tires. Everything else is perfect.
I'm thinking Vossen HF-2 wheels in bronze. MSS suspension with a slight drop. Remus exhaust. PPF and tint. Need to get a Blendmount for the Valentine 1. Lots to do. |

I know I don't know y'all yet... But I think a lot is lost with the written word, vs the spoken word. I was going to ask you if you were a secret member of the Corvette club with you reply to my previous post about the X3MC keeping up with these M2's. It was a snarky post I made, meant to be funny, and your reply was taken by me to be snarky directly at me. I'm sure it's not a personal thing, but clearly we ALL know which car is faster, so I took your comment as such.
I honestly love kidding around with other people, whether we have just met, don't know each other, or are long time friends... but sometimes people can get short with each other. Point I'm trying to make? I should refrain from making obvious posts with risks of touching a nerve on a fellow poster. So, if you took my post to be anything other than joking about a Mom car being faster than our "sports cars" I apologize. Seriously though, the X3M's are very nice cars, I know we love ours!!! Y'all have a good weekend, hopefully one of these weekends I can make a get together with you guys. |
