These are great shots of a Misano next to a LBB M2, really shows the difference. I love LBB, but not a fan of Misano (or E46 M3 Laguna Seca Blue).

I really really want to love Misano Blue......but, it's just not happening for me, at least with regards to pictures I've seen.

I've yet to see it in person tho.

Why can't they just do the San Marino Blue from the M3/4cs????????

It's my M2 in the picture next to the Misano Blue X2.

In real life, like almost all light blues, Misano Blue feels plastic. And there is a touch of purple to it. I like Porsche Miami Blue (no purple touch) a lot more.

The best Light Blue IMO, would be the epic Laguna Seca Blue or the Snapper Rock Blue (check out those 4ers, stunning in real life, to say the least).

It is really tough to make an exterior color decision without seeing all colors of interest in person. Internet photos can be incredibly deceiving.

What those pictures don’t show is how teal LBB is. Blech.

Factor in the fact that the M2 CS features some dark colored exterior parts (CFRP/CF + high gloss black), so you got to imagine body color + black/anthracite. The hood and roof will be a surprise for most people.

Ok, just got back from the local BMW Dealership and finally was able to see Misano Blue in person.

Initially it does seem dull and ordinary. I was underwhelmed for sure. Just not a striking blue that grabs your attention.

Now, Artemis may have a good point....it might look better with the Carbon Roof and Bits to contrast.....also, the Black rims might help make it all come together nicely.

While driving out I did see a gorgeous San Marino Blue and what can I say.....that color is just AWESOME!!!

Anyway, Here are some pics, it was cloudy out....

EDIT - Pics not loading???

^^ That’s hot.

As I said in the main CS thread, Misano on the CS is going to look kickass.

Close.

As pointed out before, MB is the metallic blue equivalent of the Bavarian blue featuring in the BMW logo.

That blue M2C pictured above looks fantastic.

I agree a nice red (none of that burgundy crap) would be great but it seems like a lot of manufacturers are focusing less on red these days which is a shame as every sporty car should be available in a race red type of color.

Totally agree!

One of my favorite colors and available on the M3/4cs.......so, was originally hoping the M2cs would get it as well.
