Because everyone realizes you get MORE with a slightly-used non-GT Porsche at that price point...

It’s also going to extend below the tires. How, who knows? But I’d bet on it!

That's too bad; I would of took one for the team and made a guerrilla-style movie..

Probably why I would never be invited to such an event..

I agree on the issue of price; I was working off of Artemis’ estimate of 85k USD. Much higher than that, they may sit.

Wonder why it’s ‘just’ Brussels doing it? Or is that the normal thing with BMW previews?

Come on Tornado Red M2CSL!!!
Maybe still worth going, if this a preview like the other events (I visited the one when the M2C was previewed), then you won't see any pictures from there, it is a closed room, cameras / phones have to be given away when you enter...

The car won't officially be revealed today, only thing we will know more is descriptions how the car will look that Artemis (and others) will post

Garage List
2007 E92 328i  [10.00]
2007 328i  [10.00]
Also a CF roof I am guessing?

Were there any other panels that they essentially switched out with the M performance option, like the hood or front quarter panels?

And were the tires any wider, or still 266 in the rear?

Did you like it?

Except that anyone can easily get a modestly used non-GT Porsche in the 50-80k price range at any time and yet thousands of run-of-the-mill M2s/M3s/M4s sell every year. Let's face reality, 911s and Caymans just don’t offer anything close to the practicality of ///Ms. In addition, not everyone wants someone else’s leftovers. I really don't get the BP members who seems to always talk about how Porsches are better. They're easy to find and secure at a very affordable price point, so put your money where your mouth is and just go buy one. I've owned many of them and they are great, but the pcar Kool-Aid hasn't blinded me as to what is uniquely special about ///Ms.

The big plus for the M2 is the great driving car in combination with a lot of practicality (rear seats / bigger trunk) in a more low profile and cheaper package then a Porsche. That is the main reason I love BMW M cars...
