Why do you need better brakes? I saw a brake comparison in one of the reviews and it's really up there in braking ability.

It takes a lot of force to slowdown a BSD

Not crazy at all; this is my DD. I'd drive it all day everyday. I just don't drive that much

DD here for me as well. Glad you think I'm not crazy. Mileage is just a number for me... I'm enjoying every minute driving the car and taking her to shows/events to show people. It will stay that way for quite some time

Definitely not crazy - just as long as you enjoyed the ride!

701 miles! This is not my DD, so I have been driving it a decent amount on nights and weekends. The parking situation at my work is pretty terrible right now and we have people parking in the grass and "non parking spots", so I'm playing it safe until the new parking lot is built (Crossing my fingers for next month). I drove to work once and not coincidentally, I received my first scratch that day.

According to the Active Auto guys, the pads fade fairly quickly, and they went through a complete set in 4 sessions at Sebring. M Performance pads are, What? $1200? The Pagids can't be swapped for street use. PFC has nothing available yet that I know of. I plan on hitting Laguna 3-4 times a year and maybe Streets of Willow 1-2.
Stock set up is great for the street. I don't want to be required to buy a second complete set of rotors just to use the Pagids, and I don't want to pay $1200 to BMW for a set of pads. I'm amazed at the lack of product since these are carry overs from the F80/82 cars.

I have a longtime Engineering friend who is there at Wilwood so we'll see what they come up with.

Doesn't surprise me to hear that they only last a day. At 3400 pounds these are pretty portly, yet very fast at the end of a straight.

The pads for the F80/82 should work in theory.
