I wouldn't drive hard after resetting adaptations, because the ecu is going to be pushing to its limits to find areas where it has to pull back to adapt and that's not going to be ideal if you have bad gas and a mod that isn't playing well. That sounds like asking for preignition. I always drive it gently and progressively lean on it, that does make adaptation take longer but it is less risky as you're progressively pushing the car.

Well, yeah, that’s exactly the point. You want the car to be pushed to the maximum perimeters for the new drivability and performance. This is what happens when a tune is loaded on the dyno - the car will actually reset some (not all) adaptations and will continue to adapt at WOT (about over 3 runs) you can do this manually and drive the car hard to learn the most aggressive profile.

I would not recommend doing anything abnormal (letting off during WOT, or the like) as the car will ‘learn’ that behavior and mimic it on subsequent runs, and you’ll have to do it over.

As for the TS install, I’ve never seen an issue. Like I said, it works for me, and I believe Pure was quoted saying it was better than their GFB+ but I’ve never seen proof. I just think it’s preference.

Perfectly happy with BM3 but I want a custom tune from Bend Cal and they only support Ecutek and won’t touch an OG M2 unless it has an upgraded HPFP.
Im pretty sure they will tune your og without HPFP

Bend Calibration will not tune N55 M2s without HPFP. I was in touch with them a few weeks ago and they confirmed as such.

I asked them what HPFP they recommended and they came back with either Dorch stage 2 or Nostrum and call it a day.

Kind of a bummer cuz I really like Ecutek, and am pretty much FBO minus HPFP and tune.

How would a dodgy DV valve show up in logs, maybe as a boost leak?

If the solenoid is dead then it will be an ecu code and CEL.

If it is sticking then you will hear alot of compressor surge, and the logs will show that boost is being retained for a long time even after letting off the gas.

If it is leaking then WGDC will be alot higher than normal while boost is having a hard time hitting targets. If it is really bad you will not hit boost targets at all and WGDC will be maxed. Fuel trims should be pretty negative because there is not enough air in the engine vs. what is expected by fuelling tables.

These are some general signs.

2 weeks ago installed Turbo BOV DV, Inlet, CSF IC, CP, BP, DP, all together. flashed couple maps and tested, logs looks fine. no knocks.

Then I swapped stock spark plugs to NGK 0.022'' gapped last week.
flashed and tested again, knocks happened both low/high rpm, timing is messy WOT.
after that I flashed back to stock tune. knocks and timing issue still happening.

Now I kept stock tune and drive like a nanny to work, and keep RPM below 3k all the time, low % throttle
Don't know where to start.

Is resetting adaptations and reflash gonna help?
everything seemed to started after changing new spark plugs.

If the weird behaviour occured after installing the plugs, chances are your plugs are gapped too tight. This has been known to cause rough idles, and misfires.

TBH, I don't have any rough Idling, CEL, or codes just exhaust sounds... with a little rythmic? like a WRX? LOL and drives normal if I didn't check logs I wouldn't know there are so many knocks there.

maybe post some logs can help:

If you check 2 bottom logs I did couple days before changing new spark plugs.
HPFP seems fine. both stage1 ots or stage2 ots tune
I know there is still a missing fuel pressure target, and they are short 3rd gear pulls
but it's not horrible.
Thank you for sharing anyway. ^_^

2 things could be happening here:
One - it could be the car adapting from map switching, which would cause the knock I saw in the "custom stage 2 ACN" but it's also the spark plugs.

Please go back to the stock plugs with the stock gap, or widen the gap on these plugs to .03 and try again.

I looked at the before and it looks fine, on some cars, the HPFP can dip during a pull but your immediate concern is the timing which is terrible. I know you octane limited, but you timing is poor and it wasn't like that before the new plugs.
