are you using on the 788's with or without the gloss black? I have the later and wonder if the P&S has any limitations with gloss finishes. thanks.
Hmm, sorry not following your "gloss-black" comment.

My 788 rims are bi-colour, and P&S Brake Buster is safe for all rim finishes…they are a stellar company with superlative products (I also use their interior cleaner, Bead Maker…never let me down).

sorry, understand the confusion. We have the same wheel, but mine are the "forged black" which is a gloss finish. Just wanted to be sure this product was safe for it. Your reply answered that question. thanks.

I just talked to my shop-- M-P coilovers and Millway Street camber plates are installed, and with a moderate drop, NO spacers are required on EC-7's w/ 255/35/19 front MP4S's. They did say that clearance is tiiiiiight, and if I want to drop any more, spacers and studs would be required.

But, at the moment, they're all very happy with how things are turning out. The car will sit overnight, and then get a final "aggressive street" alignment tomorrow. I'll pick it up on Monday.

So, fingers crossed.

Thanks for the info. Heading to Little Switzerland in three weeks after M school. Will definitely check out Grandfather Mountain, Rt 221, Blowing Rock and Boone.

Yes. Multiple test drives today to get a feel for the M-P, Millway Street, Apex & Michelin combo. They're a race-based shop run by a SCCA National Champion, so it'll be interesting to see how they sort things out.

Yes! Little Switzerland is at the top of 226A, a fun challenging climb or descent, part of the Diamondback route. https://diamondback226.com/details/#

Brake flush with Castrol SRF, added rear carbon splash guards, and hit the track after work with friends. A local cop even escorted me the whole way from the highway to the track!

HPR, yeah?

You're in my parking spot!

I wanted to go to the Open Lapping yesterday or today, but we weren't *quite* done setting up the suspension. Next month, I guess.

Hit 1200 miles and had the M Perf coil overs installed. Had them set to recommended height, but here were 2 quick pics I took picking her up. Shout out to Munich Motorsports in East Windsor CT for the install, saw same spec LBB M2C there getting the KW kit.

That stance is SPOT ON!

Certainly makes the car look more purposeful, well done mate!

Man, HPR is hard on the front left, but the heat really got to it yesterday. Despite my attempts to keep the tires happy and at proper pressure/temp, it just wasn't happening. It may be time to switch to a compound better suited for the track.

Yup-- that's why I decided to splurge with an extra set of EC-7's and Cup2's-- Swapping wheels is a bit of a hassle, but since I'll be pulling them off to dial the suspension for track days anyway, it's no big deal. The MP4S's are great, but I don't want to have to replace them every time I do a day or two at HPR.

PS: Just signed up for the RMCCA Fall track school in Sept-- maybe I'll see you there.

Definitely worth it. Quite a few different driving experiences in that area. Plus tons of good food in Boone and blowing rock. I think I'm gonna go back down in September or October, might make some side trips to either little Switzerland, I read about one of the roads there being crazy with switchbacks, or over to tail of the dragon since I've never done it.

Perfect, now I see how it will look on my LBB. I ordered both center and side grilles about a week ago, how long to arrive? easy to install?

I ordered mine without their logo on it so delivery time might have been inflated. Still it arrived in 9 days. Not bad at all. Installation of the center grill is easy and straight forward. The side grills are a bit more fiddly to install if you do it by yourself. You must apply pressure on the grill while screwing in the screw and at the same time prevent the clip from spinning. It's not hard, but a third hand would make this much easier. I ended up using two screwdrivers. One to prevent the clip from spinning the other to screw in the screw. I applied pressure with the back of my hand that was holding one of the screwdrivers. Took maybe 10 minutes to get both sides secured.
